@bripearce4511 months ago I was scared of pits until i met my friends. His name was Ice and he was solid blue. I ended up getting my own. I had him for 10 years before he passed away he was the best dog!!!!! He literally saved my life more than once. ... 315

@nattygab11 months ago Yes! I wish more people realized that pits and big dogs aren't bad or scary. Rather it's the way they were raised by their owners. I'm so glad your mom overcame that fear and saved that beautiful fur baby. 174

@Ur_fav_claire33010 months ago I have a pitbull and she is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. All she does is give kisses and whenever she sees somebody, she always has to say hello by presenting a toy. And what you said about it’s not the dog it’s human is so true and honestly hurts me when I see people that are terrified of Pitbulls because so did I and I didn’t understand that it’s not all dogs like some Labs could be bad dogs, like the stereotype that all Pitbulls or any dog breed in general is a mean bad dog, is dumb. Any dog can be a mean dog, it all depends on how they were raised, treated, and trained
edit: Her name is Aster btw, she it a white pit bull with one brown spot on her left ear

@sixsmith549710 months ago The stuff about pit bulls being trained bad, preach sister. My parents are super scared of pit bulls because I was attacked by one when i was younger, but I met one when I was a little older and he was one of the sweetest animals I’ve ever met. Granted I have no memory of being attacked so I have no trauma but the point still stands ... 7

@Rangerthecat10 months ago That’s so true. As a pitbull mix owner a lot of my friends were too scared to come into my house to hang out with me because of my dog. My dog is completely harmless and the only thing she’ll ever do to you is give you a bunch of kisses. she loves people and has never even showed aggression towards any person or other animals. The people are the ones who train dogs to be aggressive. Sometimes they do it to protect themselves, which is good because they will do it, and they train them to know how to do it, but other times people just do it to have them fight other dogs and it’s not good. Don’t judge a book by its cover. All dogs are sweet at heart. ... 1

@mrssomebody816610 months ago That's 10000% right you know how many times I have said those exact words to people I know or don't know who automatically judge pitbulls it kills me or any dogs for that matter it's not the dogs fault ever it's the owners who made them be that way no dog wants to be mean or aggressive are you kidding. .. your mom did absolutely amazing by saving his life hats off to you and your mom & your family I'm so glad this baby survived & is living an amazing life❤️ ...

@mickbxx10 months ago One of my foster dogs was a pit mix. She was born with a heart defect called a ventricular septal defect. We didn't know this when I decided to foster her. All I was told was that she was a 1/3 of the size of her siblings at 3 months old, had a really bad heart murmur, and there was a possibility that she could die at any point. Her heart murmur was probably a 5 or 6 on the scale, so the worst she could have. I had her in my care for five months, she gained weight, grew, learned so many things, and was absolutely the sweetest girl. She got adopted in January this year and her new family refused contact with me. I miss her so much, I should have never let her go. ... 1

@georgiagreene163810 months ago this is so sweet, when i was a kid my family was also fearful of bully breeds just because of the media, but we babysat our neighbors pit mix all the time and it was the first time i had ever actually felt safe because she would sleep in my room on my bed all night. we adopted one when i was growing up and now i have my own and my family has completely changed on how they feel about the breed. i’m so impressed with you and your family for helping him even though you had such a negative experience with them, im a dog trainer now and this really gives me so much hope. ...

@Kate_Tabby10 months ago The problem with most pitts is that they're bred improperly. They're supposed to breed out the aggressiveness but most pitt sellers don't do that(combined with poor training) which makes them super dangerous. You never know what kinda done you're gonna get ...

@liymaf10 months ago Aww, Godbless, Mr. Elijah🥹 I wish everyone had the realization & spirit little Jessie had towards pitties. I have a dogo/pitbull mix and she's afraid of everything and is the nicest dog to my children. We also have a pom/yorkie/corgie mix & he's the one you gotta look out for sometimes lol From my experience, bigger "scary" looking dogs are just wittle babies🥺 The smaller dogs are more fiesty & aren't afraid to show it lol But I love all dogs! ...

@kristiluffy484910 months ago Love this!! I rescued our Pitbull 4 year ago. Her name is Lola. My friend's neighbor would beat her so bad and said he was going to shoot her sooooo I may have stolen her out of his yard in the middle of the night😁 he threatened to call the cops on me but I told him I had video of him abusing the dog (I really didnt🤫) ... she was my very best friend until about 2 years ago when I had a baby! I'm chopped liver, my son is her best friend now 🥰.. No such thing as a bad dog, just bad owners❤ ...

@jchansdollhouse10 months ago Great story! Glad he was saved 😊
Now let's talk about your makeup... It's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I thought you were prettier without it. I think you could have just put a light blush on and some mascara and eyeliner and you would have looked great! I think that the amount of makeup you have on makes you look a lot older... But if that's what you're going for please ignore me. I swear not shaming you're gorgeous either way 😁 ...

@nursenightmare624510 months ago I wish that statement was true but the sad reality is it’s not just nurture but also nature. The bully breed was bred for hunting/protection purposes and as any line of DNA goes it’s about selective breeding. If you breed an aggressive high prey driven dog you have a huge chance their puppies will also have aggression issues and a high prey drive. In the end it is still humanity’s fault for the over abundance of poorly bred dogs which give the bad reputation and cause bully breeds to be the #1 overbred dog and also the #1 breed that gets euthanized. If the laws were stricter on animal breeding and abuse then a lot of issues will dissolve. I am involved in bully breed rescue and the SPCA along with growing up around veterinarians and asking looooots of questions. ...

@riaobukofe134710 months ago Pits are not scary or dangerous if trained right but there are a lot of evil people that like to train ‘dangerous’ dogs to attack and they do it to other dogs that most people that couldn’t hurt a fly. The dogs are not the issue, it’us humans that are the problem and I think if any type of dog or any animals that people want should be vetted like in the army to see if they will actually love and treat the animals as part of their family ...
