Iconic 1912 Building lost to Fire in Cochran Ga

A 4:48am call to a former apartment building resulted in the loss of an 1912 building. The 4,000 sq ft building was affectionately know as the "Rutland Apartments" to many Cochran residents. The building had been unoccupied for several years. The Bleckley County Fire Dept supported the Cochran Fire & Emergency Services in "containing" the fire to the premises. No injuries to personnel.
