@Hellman5697قبل 7 أشهر I love how this episode helps and maybe even slightly HINDERS Fluttershys progression as a character and being more assertive. On the one hand, she wasnt id="hidden3" class="buttons"> pushed around anymore, and it shows in later episodes, but on the hand, this episode might have hurt her because of the way she made her friends upset. They forgave her, but in that moment, she was a monster to herself ....وسعت 11

Flutter was savage, id="hidden7" class="buttons"> then savage, yet a warm gentle soul. That's why i love it. It teaches the lesson: You can stand up for yourself, but you can still be nice. - Technically, Minotaur is half bull half man, if I remember my Greek mythology correctly.
- You like her now.
- There's a far worse truth to this. She's been teased, bullied, and stepped on almost her whole life and has just shyed away from it, meaning she's been carrying a lot of repressed anger. This outburst has been a therapy session for her.
- Poor Spike gets to be the 7th wheel. xp
Also, to some, this can sound like a shipping chart. xD

I love how Pinkie Pie did the Bugs id="hidden11" class="buttons"> Bunny trick on the salespony and Iron Will. In the end, Fluttershy learned to say no to Iron Will, which surprised Rarity and Pinkie Pie. The lesson is to stand up for yourself and never let people push you around

@TheCommenterDragonقبل 7 أشهر "Putting Your Hoof Down" is considered to be one of the worst Fluttershy episodes of the FIM series, Because on the one hoof it was good that id="hidden15" class="buttons"> Fluttershy was learning how to stand up for herself but on the other hoof she went from simply asserting herself to acting like a complete jerk. But at least Fluttershy learned her lesson in the end because as we all know there's a huge difference between being assertive and being a jerk.
Iron Will instantly became another fan favorite character, Especially because he was the first minotaur ever to make an appearance in the series. But Iron Will became such a fan favorite that many people in the fandom hoped that he would one day return.
And of coruse one of my favorite parts of this episode is when Pinkie Pie did a Bugs Bunny reference with the win bit and two bits and the half day and full day things. ....وسعت 4

Yeah. this ep has issues. that said Iron Will himself is just pure AWESOME, and using The Lonely Man's Theme for the moment of Fluttershy realizing she's turned into a monster was perfection. also. you can't not love a good Duck Season/Rabbit Season gag! ....وسعت
