    @ultragaming83733 years ago The quietest keyboard is the one that displays the Keys with a laser, so If it displays the Keys on your bed it will be close to unbeatable in being quiet 3430

    @onyxth3ripper3 years ago You have to keep in mind that the sound of you touching the keys makes a sound that doesn't happen when you press the keys down, so technically this keyboard is almost 100% silent 167

    @DJGuaguanco8 months ago Hi there!
    I have a Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Cherry MX Silent and it seems that the keyboard has changeable switches.
    Currently has Chery MX Red Silent, but they are not so quiet, and i was thinking that i could improve the sound to be more quieter.
    Can you recomand the best silent swithches and some keycaps for it?
    Thank you!

    Question if you don't mind. What keyboard would you recomend if I would want to make a silent 100% or 1800 ( or 96%, basically the ones with number pad )?
    Thank you!!!!

    @onecalledchuck16643 years ago WD40 as lubricant, especially for plastics, is not a good idea. The solvents in it will disintegrate many plastics over time -- crazing, cracking and discoloring them. 124

    @herbivorouscyborg2398last year Which silent switches feel the best to type on? I don't need my keyboard to be the quietest ever, but something reasonably quiet would be a nice change of pace. I have Cherry MX Brown with dampeners right now and I still think it's a bit too loud, so I was considering getting silent switches. ...

    @ShapdCrusadrlast year My self I don't care if switches on a mechanical keyboard is quite or clicky & loud. What I care about is how much pressure it takes to activate the key and how the switch feels when pressed. I used all the well known brand names of mechanical keyboards. Which used one of the following switches Cherry MX, Blues, Greens. Out of those three switches I could not really feel the difference when the key was pressed. At most I noticed one was more clicky and more loud then the others. ...

I was surprised to find a keycap puller in the box and 4 extra switches. Will try different types and application of lubrication to see which one performs best. I think I can sacrifice ScrLk and Pause keys as well in the name of Sayence. These are Outemu Blues so have to experiment. ... 14
