M1 iPad Pro 2021 (2 Months Later)

The M1 iPad Pro 2021 is undoubtedly the most powerful tablet on the market today. This is my two month long term review! After two months (69 days to be precise) using the iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch, what are the most exciting features, is it the 120Hz Mini led Liquid Retina XDR display? Is it the amazing Thunderbolt 4 connectivity? Could the M1 chip really make this the bet tablet on the market? And Apple also added an incredible Liquid Retina XDR display (Mini-LED) to finally rival the competition in that area, did they do a good job? I was really looking forward to the #iPadPro2021 more than any other Apple product in 2021. Mainly because my previous iPad Pro was fairly ancient. But I was disappointed with the news that iPadOS15 would still not have any support for Pro apps. The iPadOS launched earlier in June at Apple’s Developer Conference, WWDC 2021 had many hopes for the iPad Pro 2021, mainly because of Apple’s great job on the hardware side of things. I have been using the iPadOS15 Beta 4 version but the difference doesn't seem to allow much more from a performance perspective. I mean, why else put an M1 chip on the iPad Pro if not to be able to run more processor intensive applications like Photoshop, FinalCut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro for example? It turns out the answer to that is manufacturing efficiency. Don’t get me wrong I still believe Apple will eventually get there but let’s face it, there is no business reason to do it as that would cannibalise its own MacBook sales. So I have had no choice but to accept the iPad Pro 2021 for what it is and try to take advantage of what it does offer today.
