Byzantium wasn't really doing what the Crusaders told them to do. After the Byzantine Empire got shot the empire split into the Latin Empire, Duchy of Athens, Negroponte, Duchy of the Archipelago, Cephalonia, Corfu, Kingdom of Thessalonica, Despotate of Epirus, Wallachia and Bulgaria, Empire of Nicea, Seljuk Sultanate of Rum and the Empire of Trebizond. I decided to recreate one of my favorite memes, the "Son, are you studying in there?" meme by Bread Boys. However, I actually decided to recreate like a representation of the Sack Of Constantinople in the 4th Crusade, 1204 and the 3rd Crusade in 1192. Basically, in the first and later fifth crusade, the Byzantine Empire was teamed with the crusaders, however in the 4th and 3rd crusades the Byzantine Empire switched sides to fight against the crusades, failing each time.
