Hyderabadi Dum Ka Chicken or Restaurant style Dum ka chicken /Dum Ka Murgh Is a tasty Hyderabadi Dish...Dum ka chicken with its aromatic flavours is one of the favourite dishes of Hyderabad...A very simple dish to make but with a lot of ingredients still simple...Its mouth watering taste makes it a hit among the masses...Its a must dish to be made at your homes or parties...the finger licking taste of this dish is an experience u can never forget..The mesmerizing taste of this dish makes u forget the world...so try this dish and let me know..!!...The method is so easy...just note its ingredients..!! INGREDIENTS =========== Chicken - 1 Kg Fried onions - 2 big onions Curd - 250 gm Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoon Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice - extract of one lemon Shah zeera - 1/2 teaspoon Mint - few leaves Coriander leaves - few leaves Oil - 3 tablespoon Ghee - 1 table spoon Coconut - 20 gm Cashew nuts - 20 gm Almonds - 20 gm Clove - 4 Cardamom - 3 Cinnamon - few Ginger - 20 gm Garlic - 10 to 12 Chillies - 5 Salt - according to taste METHOD ======== Wash and clean 1 kg chicken ... Add the above mentioned ingredients to chicken...the ingredients are .... Fried onions - 2 big onions Curd - 250 gm ;Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon ; Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon ; Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon ; Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon ; Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoon ; Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon ; Lemon juice - extract of one lemon ; Shah zeera - 1/2 teaspoon ; Mint - few leaves ; Coriander leaves - few leaves ; Oil - 3 tablespoon ; Ghee - 1 table spoon ;{ Coconut - 20 gm ; Cashew nuts - 20 gm ; Almonds - 20 gm ; Clove - 4 ; Cardamom -3 ; Cinnamon - few} Make a fine paste paste of coconut,cashew nuts,almonds,cloves,cardamom and cinnamon ; Ginger - 20 gm ; Garlic - 10 to 12 ; Chillies - 5 {make a fine paste of chillies,ginger and garlic} ; Salt - according to taste. After mixing all the above mentioned ingredients....marinate this chicken mixture in refrigerator for one to four hours...the more you marinate the better it becomes...you can even marinate it overnight...after marination put this vessel on stove and heat it under high flame for 5 minutes then slow the flame and cook it for 1 hour...if you have an old tawa or flat pan place the chicken vessel under it and heat it....it makes the cooking slow this is called dum...this slow cooking makes the chicken more tender, juicy and tasty....while cooking chicken you have to seal the lid...I had already mentioned its procedure in my video...after 1 hour open your lid...Dum ka murgh is ready...it looks delicious...serve it and enjoy..!!
