Christmas Train Set

Marketed by Premier Decoration Ltd and intended as a moving decoration for a Christmas display. This is a battery toy running on plastic track. The track is approximately 32mm gauge. The loco has a front light (red) and makes a sound. There is a smoking version but this one has just sound and a light. The sound is a steam loco going around in a loop. Basic steam pulse then three whistles then an overrun steam sound then seven bells and back to steam sound again. The loco requires 4 AA cells. It cost me £17 from a UK garden centre. Very similar models may play a music jingle, some are larger, this appeared to be the smallest of the Merry Christmas sets. The loco and box car are USA outline. It is made in China.
