Ek ong kar sat gur prasad
Sat gur prasad ek ong kar
Translations vary, but all carry the same theme as this one translation: “There is one creator of all creation. All is a blessing of the one creator. This realization comes through guru’s grace.”
The individual words/syllables have these meanings:
Ek — one
Ong — creator
Kar — creation
Sat — truth
Gur — great, important
Prasad — kindness, serenity, cheerfulness, tranquility, gift
