Connect - ClariS (Madoka Magica OP) [piano]

Hey everyone it's been a while. To be honest, I've been discouraged about piano and contemplated quitting throughout the past month. I reasoned to myself that all the time and effort I put into piano wasn't worth it because of imposter syndrome and the fact that not many people listen to my music. The numbers really got to me. Joining the rat-race to cover the latest new songs, trying to make it to the "Youtube algorithm," constantly facing blocks in my piano and arrangement skills--these problems made learning and arranging a new song from scratch quite difficult. I tried forgetting about piano throughout the past month... but I found myself coming back to the bench, hitting the keys, and playing whatever I felt in the moment over and over again. When going on Discord or scrolling through my Instagram/Youtube feed and seeing piano everywhere, I felt regret for not intentionally investing time into my passion. I randomly decided to watch all the Madoka Magica movies within the past few days. Although I'm not in the greatest mental state, after watching the movies and hearing the opening song, I felt inspired. The song is about not giving up and pushing through despair and darkness. It resembles the story of the main character to have hope and fight for the one she loves amidst a future that looks 100% doomed. This song is very special to me. I often find myself coming back to it. After listening to it a couple times this week, I found some motivation to do a quick, small arrangement. Sorry for the little SOB story.
