INGREDIENTS

Chicken .. 1/2 kg
These are the ingredients required for marination
Curd .. 200 gm
Cashewnut paste .. 20 gm
Ginger garlic paste .. 1 tspn
Red chilli powder .. 1 to 2 tspn
Turmeric .. 1/2 tspn
Black pepper pwdr .. 1 tspn
Cooking soda (optional) .. 2 pinches
Food colour .. a pinch (optional)
Juice of one lemon
Coriander powder 1 tspn

Remaining ingredients
Butter .. 2 tspn
Clarified butter ( ghee) .. 1 tspn
Green chillies .. 8 to 10
Garlic .. 6 to 8
Curry leaves .. few
METHOD

Marinate chicken with the above mentioned ingredients...let it marinate for 1 hour...take a pan heat butter and ghee...add chillies ; onion; ginger garlic paste ; garlic ; curry leaves and saute for few minutes...add marinated chicken ; cood under high flame for 5 minutes then reduce the flame and simmer for 20 to 25 minnutes...Butter chicken is ready.
