Lauren Pazienza, who fatally shoved an 87-year-old singing coach to the ground in New York City last year, has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the case, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said Wednesday.

    @autumnfragrance63269 months ago Outrageous that this beautiful young lady is being persecuted for a simple lapse of judgement. She deserves a second chance. We've all made mistakes. And the other woman involved was like 90 years old ... she would have passed from old age anyway. Lauren was persecuted because of her socioeconomic status. The alleged victim was an old woman who lost her balance and fell. Lauren reached out to help brace her fall; unfortunately this kind act was misinterpreted as a shove. Lauren was raised in Port Jefferson, graduated from FIT (Baccalaureate degree) and worked for the exclusive Roche Bobois. Lauren is only 26, a registered Democrat and is extremely progressive... she is also engaged to an Asian. Why would she attack an old lady without provocation?? This is all a misunderstanding that started when Lauren shouted "ditch" in an attempt to warn the old woman she was stepping in a sidewalk pothole.
    As a concerned citizen, Lauren did remain near the scene to ensure that an ambulance arrived. Shortly after the accident, Lauren had an altercation (and break-up) with her Fiancée. Lauren was so distraught that she deleted her social media (any reminder of her Fiancé) and retreated to her Parent's home for recovery time. Lauren turned herself in to the Police pronto as requested. Also, Lauren denounced Trump oodles and oodles of times since his election campaign.     ...     2
