@gailmariage5318قبل 10 أشهر When I played piano in college, I actually varied rhythms and tempos all the time. Glad I was right. 35

@anna570قبل 10 أشهر lol I am just starting learning this song! I use this trick sometimes, sadly it is not enough to take my playing to the next level, but it certainly does help my fingers from making a complete mess! 11

@ellteaarghقبل 7 أشهر Haha, here's a trick I did since I started playing intuitively. Felt like the right thing to do because the same rhythm becomes monotone if I play it enough. It's always fun

@Vic9994546قبل 9 أشهر I love this trick I do it a lot the best musicians recommend it especially flipping the swing pattern too! It helps the fingers prepare and get to the next note more efficiently and sooner

@onikumoقبل 10 أشهر Nice! My first piano teacher had us do that daily.
I need to have my students do that too.

@amyq_yxقبل 10 أشهر These are some things I do to play evenly & really help:
-short-long-short-long (opposite version of the one in this video)
    -play all notes staccato
    -playing with accents

@b.r.e.n.nقبل 10 أشهر It’s like putting it in swing tempo instead of straight.. I like it! (Also, what is that piece called..?) 4

@pianisthenicsقبل 9 أشهر It’s basic dotted notes rhythm. I thought it’s universally known.
You can also do stop and go (group of 4,8 or 4+1,8+1 and repeat the +1) as well

@rileyxskoقبل 8 أشهر I'm three days into learning how to play piano (my only prior musical experience is guitar bass and drums but no formal training, just basic covers and crappy punk bands) and I gotta say, you're incredibly helpful.

@coreyduval3171قبل 9 أشهر When doing this remember to alternate (long-short-long-short) and (short-long-short-long), it can feel like an entirely different exercise

@sandrafrancis3631قبل 10 أشهر Don't quite understand why? Wouldn'it make it harder to play it normally? Isn'it hard to unlearn something ? If I learn something one way, I find it hard to play it another way maybe a more advanced tip? 1

@alexkali33قبل 10 أشهر Hey bro, I go to a musical school (I don’t know if it’s called that way in English) and I play the piano since I was 6. I also workout in the gym quite often, does this affect negatively my fingers’ agility or not?
