Cheers, Huaweians, and welcome to the HFM v0.7 release. This version features a lot of changes and it finally implements full widget rotation and resize! All widgets are rotatable, except for the "native" ones: Text (Simple) Text (Concatenated) Box By "native", I mean that it's the watch that renders them. Since they're not really images, but data fields used by the watch, they can't be rotated. Resize works for all, but text won't "grow" on Text Simple and Concatenated widgets, so drawable width will resize, but not the contents themselves on these two widgets. In Text widgets you can instead resize the font size. Apart from that, now you have all the freedom to import, generate and use the new embedded templates, with hundreds of ready-to-use graphics. These are the available graphics categories: Backgrounds Brands Cartoon Dials Flags Hands Overlays Stencils All these graphics are automatically resized to work with any of the supported watches. The backgrounds are all 454x454, but they're resized if you import them on a 390x390 project. Any of the resized and rotated graphics are kept unchanged on the save file and are only actually rotated/resized when you export to HWT, in order to keep the quality crisp ;) Soon I'll be adding many more graphics and also allowing you to import any graphic to the templates. They'll be stores on "Custom" category. Also available now are the image effects. Let's say you have a background that doesn't really match the hue/color of the clock hands. Just play with color/hue of the background or hands to make them match! These are the available effects: Blur Brightness/Contrast Color Adjust Crossedges Emboss Flip (vertical/horizontal) Glow Hue/Saturation/Lightness Invert Lighten Mosaic Noise Posterize Sepia Sharpen This feature is still experimental and needs some work, but you should be able to use it as is. I'll soon add more effects like Opacity or Layer Mode. Keep in mind that effects are not undoable, but you can always reimport the images if you don't like the result :) On the next version, I'm planning to implement Layer Merge, which will allow you to merge several subsequent graphic layers in order to save on the HWT final size. The more images you use, the bigger the HWT will be, so I think this is a must have feature. This way, you'll be able to compose a background from 20 different images or more, by simply merging them into one (as long as you don't have other widget types inbetween)! Watch Preview will now use your PC's date, hours, minutes and seconds, it no longer uses random values. Support has been added to GT2 46mm and 42mm, so this should now theoreticaly support: GT (454x454) GT2 46mm (454x454) GT2 42mm (390x390) Honor (390x390) On this video, you'll see me create two simple watch faces, for GT and GT2 42mm. By the way, I'm still unsure if this will work on GT2 46 and 42mm, I wasn't able to find a watch face for these two in order to inspect the description.xml or watch_face_info.xml (they have the same content). Are they any different from the GT or Honor? I'm especially interested in the "screen" and "version" fields. If any of you could post here or send me one of these files, I'd be very appreciated. All you have to do is open a HWT with 7-Zip (it's just a renamed zip file) and extrack the description.xml. Finally, I'm not sure this version will be compatible with watch faces made with HFM earlier versions, so start a new one if you're experiencing any trouble. Many new fields have been implemented which don't exist in the save file from earlier versions. Download from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hCZz0B3l9v3xW4wv9LRmwfF8i5skX6GR?usp=sharing There are versions for Windows and Linux. MacOS was dropped for now, I don't have a Mac and I'm not willing to buy one just to test this. I hope you enjoy this new version, now I'm going back to Huawei Watch Face Manager and see if I can release it before the end of this month. I have big plans, including a custom firmware with less default faces (those on original firmware are ugly AF), so stay tuned and hit Subscribe! Cheers and thank you all for your support!
