@loserdude2541منذ 2 سنوات I really like how all of these keep the original quest 2 style, I've always been a big fan of the clean design the quest 2 holds and these really go with that. 74

@Mr.deadpointمنذ 2 سنوات Definitely interested in the IR blaster. Any chance we can get a pass through view from the headset? I just want to make sure it is bright enough for good tracking. Thank you. 128

@SjaakSchulteisمنذ 2 سنوات Bobo makes very usefull addons to the Quest. That infrared light is on my list now. looks great, power passthrough is essential (I use the BoboVR strap with battery attached). Good choices Steve! 21

@elisabeth5111منذ 2 سنوات The BoboVR M2 pro head strap does have an inexpensive upgrade kit too which replaces the back pad with a honeycomb silicone pad. This mostly resolves the id="hidden4" class="buttons"> issues that I had with the previous padding and wobble/slipping. The silicone honeycomb pad is also standard on their M1 pro strap now as well.
I own both the M1 pro and M2 pro and I also have their original iteration of the fan and overall it's a nice setup.
The new Bobo VR battery pack is a neat little add-on for folks who have different straps or the default one but I definitely prefer the pro head strap which just has this hot swappable battery in it already. Like a lot of other folks have said I mean if we can have to look into that iron blaster though that would be useful

@bluebell1منذ 2 سنوات Great thorough review Steve! Love your smiling face! I have all of those accessories except the IR Blaster. I’ll check that out! Thanks for taking the time to make this video! Have a great day!
  • @
@DrewLakebrinkمنذ 2 سنوات Great video. That's the first battery pack I've thought would be a nice addition. What we need is external storage with power pass through. USB id="hidden6" class="buttons"> drives are tiny these days, so it shouldn't be that difficult to make. The IR blaster confirms the USB-C port does output power. I'm guessing the barrier is the Quest's software not supporting it. ....وسعت 6

@weeble3383منذ 2 سنوات Wow, love that infra red gadget. The amount of times I didn't realise it was getting dark, until my hand started to drift due to loss of tracking 1

@christophersnyder3152منذ 2 سنوات BoboVR has an “upgraded F2 fan” with softer more flexible interface, better padding and a magnetic attachment to the interface. 22

@baddoodle6876منذ 2 سنوات That IR blaster is a must. I gotta get that. I play in my basement and when I flip the lights on.all of them come on. And there are a lot. So it will id="hidden9" class="buttons"> be nice to play in the dark. Love the Bobovr strap.it's amazing. The only thing I will say about it is that the sound quality changes not having the strap there to reflect the sound in your ear. ....وسعت

@bryanth3587منذ 2 سنوات Cool! I’d never heard of the IR light. I’ll definitely check that one out.
  • @
@Megamind283منذ 2 سنوات I personally use the Bobo VR F2 ACF, and it's really good for General VR play but specifically VR Fitness games feel much better to play with it and it's a lot more lightweight than the other fan 4
  • @
@ted2jمنذ 2 سنوات Thank you the ir blaster is perfect when I use my headset in bed after my wife truns off all the lights

@cfryantofficialمنذ 2 سنوات The bobo vr head strap does not have an issue with being loose, it just needs to be adjusted. I made the same mistake, what seems to work best is to have id="hidden11" class="buttons"> the halo come around to the base of your skull (flipping the bottom pad in the back upside down makes this easier), and the front sits centered on the hairline. Don't overtighten the knob in the back (this can actually break the strap with too much pressure), instead tighten just enough so it feels comfortable (but not yet 100% secure), then use the two rotation points that attach to the side arms - one rotates the quest body onto your face, the other adjusts the angle so it's flush AGAINST your face - you want to use these two adjustment points to kind of "walk" the device into place, rotate it down closer to your face, adjust the angle - rinse and repeat.
Once you find a comfortable fit (which may take a bit of adjusting), put your hand on the front of the quest and push it the bottom of the quest against your face (may need to put a second hand on the back where the knob is for this to keep it secure). You want the strap secure enough around your head, but allowing the bottom of the facial interface to rest against your cheekbones making it the last piece that everything fully secure, sort of folding in on your head and holding itself there like an overly polite headcrab I guess, idk, new territory here, I'm all out of metaphors.
If you did it correctly, you should be able to whip your head around to your heart's delight without the headset moving in any significant way - if its banging against your nose or face or the halo feels too lose you need to keep working with it until you fight just the right adjustment for your outlier-shaped-head.
One other mistake I made was when I originally attached the head strap, the front of the halo strap was attached too close to the quest - you need ~ just under an inch to get the angle just right.
LMK if you're having issues with yours, I know this is difficult to convey through text but I'm sure I can work it out of anyone needs help.

@nicholasreynolds6609منذ 2 سنوات Did I miss the mention of the BoboVR Pro? Also, how well does the IR Blaster do at detecting the ground in a space with only ground. Just wondering how id="hidden12" class="buttons"> wide of a spread it has and if it reaches the entire viewable space of all of the tracking cams. ....وسعت 2
  • @
@darthmocapمنذ 2 سنوات It’s important to note, for those of us who primarily use the Quest via Link, that Link via cable cannot be done with the head strap and/or IR blaster connected. Neither device passes through data. 10
  • @
@williamaycock579منذ 2 سنوات I would like to see footage of the ir blaster testing as well. I had the bobovr m1 strap (returned it and got the m2 pro) and the padding on the back looks id="hidden14" class="buttons"> a little different on yours. Yours looks like what's on the m2 pro which works better imo. ....وسعت 2

@MrFunsocksمنذ 2 سنوات My main VR room is the spare attic room, which is stupid hot as soon as the sun hits it. One of those fans might be a decent idea. Love the look of the id="hidden15" class="buttons"> IR doodah as well as I often play after a pub session so wouldn't need all the lights on :D ....وسعت
  • @
@iwrite6388منذ 2 سنوات Thanks so much--based on your video I purchased the BOBOVR M2 Pro strap that comes with a battery. I'm so happy with it! (I have tried many straps)
  • @
@Latinkuroمنذ 2 سنوات Added that IR blaster to my list of addons to buy.
  • @
@TheNiteNinja19منذ 2 سنوات All of these things are great, I'm glad that you showed them to us. As somebody who wears glasses and has to deal with fog a lot, I always wore a neck id="hidden17" class="buttons"> fan, but one that attaches to the headset looks way more convenient.
The IR light is interesting because I've been wanting to install one in my room, but with the options that are available, I don't know what is like a flood light and what's more like a spotlight and I don't want to get the wrong one.
Battery pack looks neat, and a much less jank solution than taping a Anker 10,000 milliamp hour white battery pack to the side of my headset, throwing it off balance like I did

@Schwift3Dمنذ 2 سنوات Great video Steve :) ir blaster looks like something worth picking up. And I might consider the Bobo VR headstrap if my elite strap breaks again down the id="hidden18" class="buttons"> road. I've had 2 elite straps snap on me. 2nd time just recently happend but fortunately they are sending me ANOTHER one under warranty. XD something tells me if it happens again they won't replace it a 3rd time. Curious if you've snapped any elite straps as well? ....وسعت

  • @
@RobAndDianaGTZمنذ 2 سنوات Hi. Thanks for cool accessories. Can the bigger intake fan from other company, work with the Bobo M2 head strap? Thank you.
  • @
@VIDEOdugoمنذ 2 سنوات I've used the BOBOVR M2 and I have since upgraded and would recommend the M2 Pro with the magnetic battery pack (mine also came with the honeycomb id="hidden20" class="buttons"> headstrap pads they use for the M1 Pro and I like them better). Combined with their dock, I just set my headset and battery down and the next time I'm ready to play, I've got like 5-6 hours of juice which can be increased even further by just getting more batteries. Great shit.
Note: BOBOVR also now makes the battery packs as an attachment for compatible Quest 2 straps including the original M2 as well as making an M1 Pro headstrap with different ergonomics.

@DMonZ1988منذ 2 سنوات hey Steve! seems an appropriate video to ask this question. thrillseeker recently mentioned an add on colour passthrough camera being developed for quest id="hidden22" class="buttons"> in one of his news videos, supposedly being launched for $90 or so. couldn't find any info on it anywhere though and he didn't reply. does Steve know anything about it? i'd love to know more, sounds pretty amazing. ....وسعت 8

@ethanjohnson5983منذ 2 سنوات Does the infrared blaster have usb passthrough for quest link?
  • @
@uroborous01منذ 2 سنوات regarding the ir blaster. i looked it up on amazon and i have a couple of questions which you answered in your video save for one: the plug in the back id="hidden26" class="buttons"> of the light. i know you mentioned that it allows for power passthrough, so you can play and charge. however does it allow data passthrough for hard lined pcvr gameplay? if the answer on that is yes then i'm buying one soon as i see your response. also save for the bobovr m2 (swap that for a cheap amazon branded elite strap and throw a rebuff reality battery on top of it.) and the ir blaster. you have pretty much built the setup i advise people t get when i get asked what stuff to get for their quest 2's ....وسعت

  • @
@benf8479منذ 2 سنوات Reckon it would be cool if you could sync the fan blowing in your face to the gameplay itself. Flying around in Pop 1 feeling the wind in your face :)
  • @
@Ucceahمنذ 2 سنوات #1 low budget option: a 10-15Ah power bank, and some veclro cable ties to strap it to the back of the stock strap. aside from extending the battery life id="hidden30" class="buttons"> to 6-8h, the battery acts as a counter weight, that makes the headset MUCH more comfortable, during long sessions.
#2 is a "20 pin magnetic USB-C adapter, to save the quest 2's only weakspot

  • @
@nickdoran3494منذ 2 سنوات Steve ..bobvr have actually released an upgraded version of the fan.. I have it in the UK and its great and more comfortable also
  • @
@delor317منذ 2 سنوات And how do you use the big fan, ir, and battery at the same time?
  • @
@VexingWeebمنذ 2 سنوات the bobovr one is pretty okay, I got one for my brother's (as i use the vive audi strap with hte adapters for my quest) the only problem i had is the id="hidden32" class="buttons"> speakers won't line up with your ears so you will need to use earbuds or headphones (idk if you can use headphones on it, i haven't tried but, i imagine you can) , also the strap feels a bit thin and cheap. The battery attachment is super cool though , but there are straps around the same price with better quality, though not as good of a design.
if the battery is what makes you decide you want it though, a regular battery bank with velcro or zip ties in the back will do just as fine or even better if you want it to be heavier or lighter, or higher battery capacity

@DivorcedGooseRatمنذ 2 سنوات Pro tip for infinite battery life for your quest 2, get a 16 foot usb c cable (can be a link cable, like what I do) and plug it in direct to the wall, id="hidden34" class="buttons"> it needs to supply atleast 10 watts of power but you can play for literally months without it dying.
